Crotch Curve Adjustment / Hudson Pants Pattern Review Anita by Design 2020-08-26 | The crotch curve alteration on pants is one of the most common pattern fitting issues we face as sewists. In this Pattern Review for the Hudson Joggers, I'm sharing tips on how I made alterations to fit the crotch curve to my body.These DIY joggers are by True Bias Patterns and I needed to make a front crotch curve alteration to add extra length for a better fit. Using a Ponte Roma Knit fabric also helped me to achieve the fit I desired. Fabric does play a role in achieving desired fit.I made 3 pairs of joggers. The first pair was a test for fit with no alterations. I followed tips from a video tutorial to make alterations to the 2nd pair (link below). McCalls 6884 Pattern Review & Life Update Anita by Design 2020-05-14 | Take a look into McCall's 6884, a great pattern for beginners. I'm sharing my experience sewing the pattern; what I like, dislike and would do differently next time. The fabric I used was purchased on clearance from Joann Fabrics over a year ago and is no longer available on the website.
