Like many Jewish people, he grew up within a religious system that had already shaped the answer to the question of Jesus before he ever had the opportunity to seriously ask it.
But now, he’s challenging other Jewish men and women to do something different:
Don’t just accept what you’ve been handed. Instead, investigate Jesus for yourself.
In this candid conversation, he questions why generations of Jewish people should simply accept what religious leaders have told them about Jesus without examining the historical claims, the Scriptures, and the identity of Jesus personally.
And he doesn’t hold back:
“Who are the rabbis to tell us what we’re supposed to believe!?”
