I believe there is a modern twist on an ancient problem going on today. In first century Christianity, "Judaizers" referred to a group of Jewish Christians who believed that in order to be considered true followers of Jesus, Gentile converts needed to observe Jewish law (including circumcision and dietary restrictions). Judaizers wanted to maintain distinctions between Jews and Gentiles within Christianity, and they believed in the primacy of Jewish tradition over others.

My purpose here is to call everyone (myself included) to a starting point that honors the Biblical authors intent, and a view of Jesus that honors Him. Then I believe everyone who wants to understand the Bible can engage in meaningful conversation. I would welcome more open and meaningful dialogue whenever @JoelRichardson is available.
