"1) Turn the flashlight on
2) Rotate the intensity bezel clockwise to maximum and less then maximum three times in succession. Say with about 1/2 a second gaps
The flashlight will then start to flash SOS ie three short flashes then three long flashes then three short flashes at whatever intensity you have set.
You can exit the SOS mode by either turning the light off at the cap switch or rotating the intensity bezel to zero and then some other setting."
