Jet fuel and gasoline are very different, one lights on fire and the other has to be atomized to burn, when we see the airplane impacts and the big fireballs that come with it, that happens because of a couple things that come together at the same time to ignite the jet fuel, under normal circumstances jet fuel is much safer and much harder to ignite than gasoline, if planes were filled with gasoline it would be extremely dangerous compared to jet fuel.
There are common misconceptions about this and I will have a full video out very soon going through a few experiments to give people a better understanding of what jet fuel is and how it works.
