Jesus was commissioned by the Father to come to Earth and to do something. Now, as the eternal Son of God, he has all the power, all the authority ever needed. But I would like to suggest to you that when he came as a man, he came to marvel not only how to do life, but the process of obtaining favor from the Lord so that it would be an example that you and I could follow if he did all this miracles as God. I'm still impressed, but I'm a spectator. What I find that he did as a man surrendered to God. I'm not satisfied staying the way I am. I'm compelled to learn how to follow. And I may stink at him. I always. I may never do it. Well, I just don't have the option of changing the assignment.
