Join us for this week’s Sabbath Bible Study on NYSTV as we explore Luke 7–8. In this powerful teaching, we follow Yeshua as His authority collides with sickness, death, unbelief, a raging storm, and a legion of demons. These chapters do not present a tame teacher. They reveal a King whose word stops funerals, silences nature, drives out darkness, and amazes even Himself when He finds real faith.
We’ll walk through the Gentile centurion whose faith stopped Yeshua in His tracks, the widow of Nain whose only son was raised from the dead, and John the Baptist’s burning question from prison: “Are You the One?” Then we watch a sinful woman crash a Pharisee’s dinner, pour out her worship, and hear the words religious men could not stand: her sins are forgiven. Luke 8 opens with the women who funded the mission, the parable of the sower that exposes every kind of heart, and the moment the disciples cry out in the storm, “Who then is this?” From there Yeshua crosses the water, confronts Legion, heals the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, and pulls a dead girl back to life.
This is not just a study of miracles. It is a confrontation. Who do you say He is when the storm hits, when the dead are carried out, and when the darkness has a name?
Whether you are new to the Gospel of Luke or going deeper with us week by week, this Sabbath Bible Study will strengthen your understanding of Scripture and challenge you to hear the Word, respond in faith, and recognize the authority of the One even the winds and the demons obey.
