Was Jesus' crucifixion really prophecied a 1,000 years before it happened?
SOURCES:
2:38 – Psalm 6, Psalm 10, Psalm 13
3:27 – 1Peter 1:19-20 and Rev. 13:8
3:45 – John 2:19,21 and John 10:18
7:00 – The conversation was truncated for the sake of brevity, but what was cut out only makes Slick sound worse. Slick claimed he hadn’t done his “homework” on Numbers 31 even after all these decades. Homework is the “that” Slick was referring to, which is obviously not true since he authored an article about Numbers 31 on CARM. I recognize Slick has written thousands of articles over the years, so I don’t fault him for not remembering every argument he has ever written; but I cannot believe that Matt would be unfamiliar with this passage since he focuses a great deal of his apologetics on atheism, and Numbers 31 is one of the main prooftexts used by internet atheists to show God has instructed his people to commit immoral acts.
