Join us for this week’s Sabbath Bible Study on NYSTV as we explore Luke 5–6.In this powerful teaching, we follow Yeshua as He calls men to change direction and become disciples. From the miraculous catch of fish to the calling of Peter, James, John, and Levi, we watch ordinary and rejected people leave everything behind to follow Him. These chapters reveal His authority over nature, disease, and sin — and His heart for those the religious system had already written off.
We’ll examine the healing of the leper, the paralyzed man lowered through the roof, the banquet with tax collectors and sinners, and the words that still confront every generation: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Then we move into Luke 6, where Yeshua is declared Lord of the Sabbath, chooses the Twelve after a night of prayer, and delivers the Sermon on the Plain — blessing the poor, warning the comfortable, and commanding His disciples to love their enemies, refuse judgment, and build their lives on the rock.
This is the call to change direction. Not a call for those who think they are already righteous — but for those willing to leave the old life and follow Him.
