“I was a liar, a thief, and a drug addict. And I had a complete change of heart because I decided to see if Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice was really for me. Keeping the commandments and doing what the Lord asks—especially if it feels hard—will bring you true joy and prosperity.
“Today, several years later, I feel whole. I feel peace. And I feel a desire to do everything I can to show God my gratitude for how He saved my life. Doing my best to do what God asks, no matter how uncool or uncomfortable, has given me happiness that I never dreamed of.
