Reclaiming Jesus and the way of Jesus requires that we expand our understanding of who Jesus is and what Jesus came to do. The Gospel of Mark reminds us that Jesus came to do so much more than forgive us of our sins so we can go to heave one day, but Jesus came to embody the very Kingdom of God.
