A big congratulations to Sound Designer Jessica Paz for her Tony Award victory alongside Nevin Steinberg for Best Sound Design in a Broadway Musical. She is the first female to be recognized in this category in the history of the Tony’s! We caught up with her at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, where she is working on her latest project, Kiss My Aztec, to talk about her work on Hadestown, which also won a prestigious Tony Award for Best Musical. We are honored that her designs include Meyer Sound — “I’ve always been a big fan of Meyer and the LEOPARD is probably like my favorite speaker of all time. Between that and the UPQ, I don’t know which one l like best," and are thrilled to congratulate her on this win.
