my grandmother was a hatter. with wood hatforgmen from this time I traveled to the last hatfabrik of switzerland to julian of risa and was allowed to make a bowler with him there. Hutmacher is a nice job. There is a lot of craftsmanship and design flair in demand. Of course, I was also allowed to work on sewing machines that are over 100 years old. thanks to julan for the impressive day at the risa hut

meine grosmutter war hutmacherin. mit holz hutformen aus dieser zeit, reiste ich in die letzte hutfabrik der schweiz zu julian von risa und durfte dort mit ihm zusammen ein bowler herstellen. hutmacher ist ein schöner beruf. es ist viel handwerk und gestalterisches flair gefragt. natürlich durfte ich auch auf den über 100 jahre alte nähmaschinen arbeiten. herzlichen dank julan für den eindrucksvollen tag bei dir in der risa hutwerkstatt. www.risa.ch
