This Isn’t Your Grandma’s Quilt… But She’d Probably Want One! In today’s video, I’m sharing a FREE quilt pattern for Cottagecore Shambles—a beautifully scrappy quilt designed for both throw and twin sizes, this flexible pattern works with layer cakes (10" squares) or jelly roll strips (2½" WOF strips), making it perfect for stash busting or showing off your favorite precuts.

I'm using Gingham Foundry by Riley Blake Fabrics, a timeless floral collection with soft vintage hues and a true cottagecore feel. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned quilter, this quilt is meant to embrace imperfection and celebrate the beauty of “shambles”—loose structure, scrappy pieces, and a whole lot of character.

Materials:
Throw Size: 48" x 63" Quilt.
Either 42 - 10” squares or 42 - 2 ½” strips

Twin Size: 64" x 81" Quilt.
Either 72 - 10” squares or 72 - 2 ½” strips

With each pre-cut:
Subcut:
4 - 2 ½ x 5" rectangles.
2 - 2 ½ x 9 ½" rectangles.
