This is the closest I have gotten to rolling the Jeep. The boys and I headed for the mountains to get one last trip in before everything starts to close for the winter. Winter snow wheeling is some of my favorite. Just before reaching one of our key destinations the Jeep slid halfway off the trail. With a solid 10 foot drop, I was scared we would roll, I got the boys and the dog out and started working on a self-recovery plan. Slowly but surely I was able to climb back on the trail with the Winch. No trip goes as planned but this scary recovery had me on edge.
