This week I make a platform to mount my fridge slide and fridge into the back of the Jeep Wrangler. I also install an Eagle Manufacturing Cargo basket for the rear of the Jeep to take better advantage of the cargo area.
Overall the setup is pretty simple. Take a piece of plywood, cut it to shape and then place it in the rear cargo area of the Jeep. Secure it using the factory mounting points and then install the slide. I am really excited about this setup because I am looking forward to the convenience of having a fridge with me out on the trail and not having to deal with ice on my adventures.
