JE Dunn has completed two vertical expansion projects and interior buildouts at St. David’s Medical Center over the last five years. Our work program began with the 29,000 SF, single-story vertical expansion over the ICU that included the interior buildout of 24 ICU patient rooms and a nurse station, along with HVAC and fire alarm upgrades, fireproofing, and mechanical up grades to the Central Utility Plant (CUP). Two new bridges connect the expansion to the existing fifth floor to the adjacent bed tower.
This expansion was followed by a 75,000 SF vertical expansion of four floors to include six electrophysiology (EP) labs and 24 nursing units, in addition to the renovation of two operating room cath labs.
