On October 24, 2023, the James Beard Foundation and it's partner BentoBox celebrated National Restaurant Workers Day, a community-driven holiday to honor restaurant employees. The event opened with a  panel for restaurant workers on the resources available for their professional development, mental and physical health, and beyond.
