Happy 16'th Dan!

Thanks to Dan for driving me, we first headed to the Freeport to see if the signal was ok for M 337. We went to Army Trail Road in hopes of seeing something, but by the time we got to Schmale Road in Glendale Heights it was Green on Green.

EJ&E 662:--: After the disappointment on the Freeport we went down to West Chicago. We cross the EJ&E tracks, and waiting at Ann Street is a J-ball. Blocking a driveway we pull over and haul our asses to our shooting positions. A familiar friend was there, and said, "You guys got here just in time. He has the ok to go, his lights just turned on." With that I ran to the north east side of the tower to get my shot of EJ&E 662 with the N21 train.

BCOL 4651:--: Hearing a rumble we assume a train on the UP is approaching the junction, but nope, the signals on the EJ&E activate. A blue BCRail Dash 9 and IC SD70 take train M 390 south down the very busy main. Note the interesting ballast cars in the beginning.

C&NW 8646:--: L PJ02, UP's Proviso to West Chicago transfer, got the ok to go right after 390 passed the junction.
