- Marc cut the big bevels on the table legs and is trying to get that work out of the way before vacation. He’s also prepping the shop so it’s not awful to come back to.

KICKBACK
- Michael Summer follows up on Mike Farrington’s sanding disc. He’s been using one and loves it, especially for tabletop glue-ups, drawer sides, cutting boards, and batch work. The big advantage is the taper, which lets the disc contact the wood only where needed for a straighter, smoother edge. The double taper also lets him keep two grits loaded.
- Freddie also weighs in on the Mike Farrington double-taper sanding disc. He says it’s fantastic for casework when used with the rip fence, giving crisp, smooth, accurate edges for glue lines, sheet goods, cabinet parts, and sneaking up on final dimensions.
