The Jazz Age Sunday Social returns March 27, 2012 to Dallas Heritage Village. This year we celebrate the third annual! Presented by Matt Tolentino, Dallas Heritage Village, and the Art Deco Society of Dallas.
Join us for an afternoon of 1920s leisure, featuring traditional jazz by the Matt Tolentino and the Singapore Slingers - Dallas' number one 'revival orchestra' specializing in ragtime and traditional jazz. Antique cars, dancing, 'best dressed' contest, photo booth, food, ice cream, vintage vendors, and more.
Be sure to check out Dallas Heritage Village - the museum will be open, so be sure you check out all the beautiful homes and businesses there on display. "The mission of Dallas Heritage Village is to collect, preserve, and teach the history of Dallas and North Central Texas. Located in historic Old City Park, the museum uses its collections of historic buildings and furnishings, representing the period 1840-1910, to sponsor research, publications, and exhibits, and to present educational programs and special events for diverse audiences of children, families, and adults."
