This is my first collaboration dance video with farCry Studio-Z. The idea behind this project was to showcase two freestyle processes at once: my freeflow fingertutting and Abis Akolawala's improvisations behind the camera. Dance videos are not produced from a single party; the videographer holds many of the key responsibilities of translating the dance fluently from the dancer's mind to your computer. We headed out to Santa Monica beach on a Saturday afternoon and took full advantage of the sunset and scenery on location. Fortunately, it seemed the beach sun was a big fan of fingertutting. I hope you guys enjoy my first collab video!
