I say the f word in the intro but I have a good reason, I promise. Also there's one fanart of Ribbit and Jax that's a little suggestive.
Yes, I'm still calling her Jax. I have a few reasons. Firstly, "Jax" is a sci-fi name which, by nature, those are often genderless (and this is no exception). (I read a book called Wildcard that had a female assassin named Jax. If I had a nickel for every character named Jax who shot a gay person in the head- anyway.) Secondly, Goose herself said "do whatever you want" and not in a resigned way, in a "you don't need my permission" way. And thirdly, I don't want to confuse anyone who isn't in the loop about the fan-picked name Daisy or the post where Goose mentions the name Lilly (which by the way said "probably" if I remember correctly).
I am not deadnaming her, nobody ever said the name "Jax" was dead. Kovox still calls her that. Goose still calls her that. A lot of people do and I really don't think we're wrong in doing so.
If anyone is curious, this has in fact, not made me a Jax simp and I don't think anyone will believe me when I say that, but eh. Do whatever you want.
We all know that the real baddie that Jax fumbled was herself.
