These two Swedish JAS-39 Gripen fighters was performing an exercise together with mobilized ground personel. The reason for this exercise was to drill personel in operating from another air field from "home station". Using this mainly civil air port as a back up landing strip to refuel and reload the fighters with new weapons and ammunition.
I heard about this exercise through news and other people who's also interested in the Swedish Air Force, so I decided to drive out to the air port in hope to get a glimpse of these beautiful fighters. Unfortunately I missed out on the take off thanks to some urgent errands...
