Mod John C originally confirmed there was a VERY SMALL easter egg with the jar of sand, 5 days after it was released, on December 23rd 2014 in a now deleted RSOF post. A bit over 5 years before the uploading of this video
Over the course of 5 years there were various attempts to find this easter egg with no confirmed reports
A few people undoubtedly found it during that time, I know while I was researching I saw 1 reddit comment mentioning it, that comment had only 1 or 2 upvotes and no replies or attention given to it. How ever I can't find that post anymore myself
The existence of a known or unknown easter egg was not documented on the wiki anywhere, and seems to have been forgotten about by almost everyone.

I shared my tweet in the rs wiki discord to see if anyone in there had any ideas about it, and one user, andmcadams, mentioned the sand/dirt jars swapping, and another user asked Ash on twitter if this was the easter egg, and ash confirmed it. twitter.com/Clue_Scrolls/status/1236351002120421376
Thus a 5 year old, mostly forgotten, mystery was finally settled.
However the discord user who mentioned the jar swapping, said they also didn't discover it themselves, and had seen it in a video in the past, I've looked and cannot find this video, if anyone can find an earlier video of the jar swapping please let me know!
