神髪-Kami Gami- is a hair story related and exploring the depths of culture and the human psyche. The many different layers of a single hair and its roots contain the information for thousands and even millions of years which can even be used to trace the evolution of biological organisms.

Our story is a glimpse into the different layers under the microsope of individual interpretations to those layers. We have created and explored 5 layers and 5 stories each of which will take you into the individuals mediation on the power, creation, birth and death represented by the symbololic and very real object which is HAIR.

This film was created and lead by three main creatives based in tokyo - Michael Laburt (Film Director ) Georgie Ichikawa ( Art Director / Fashion Designer ) Fabian parkes ( VideoGrapher )

A group of very talented stylists make up artists, artists, bloggers etc all local to Tokyo decided to join together to make a project which would be intended for the Showstudio competition.
