This song is the story of a Japanese Buddhist monk who is tormented by a Yōkai that tries to take over his body and mind. The song describes the inner battle of will between the monk and the Yōkai, as he is in deep meditation in an attempt to expel the demon from his soul.
"Tsukimono" is a Japanese word which describes the phenomenon of Yōkai who possess humans.
