Welcome to the fourth episode of our Month in Japan series. February is a time of renewal. Spring is coming, the first cherry blossoms are blooming, and Chinatown is filled with the Traditional Lunar New Year spirit.

If you plan to visit Japan in February, you can enjoy many places with few tourists. Weather is still clear in most parts of Japan and days are becoming a little longer. It is also a very cheap season for tickets and hotels.

Same as January, February offers clear, sunny skies, perfect for breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji with its snow-capped peak. Winter in Japan is calm yet vibrant, with stunning landscapes and serene moments around every corner.
