What happens when a key animator faces off against a guitarist in a Pictionary lightning round during the second round of the JX Game Show featuring various guests of this year's Japan Expo (japan-expo.org/) in San Mateo.
The first tea's artist is Akihiro Kanayama, key animator of various anime like "Jungle Taitei (Kimba the White Lion" and "Ashita no Joe (Tomorrow's Joe)."
Drawing for the other team is Naoki Sugiyama, lead guitarist for the hard pop band A for-Real (aforreal.com/).
I edited out most of the long pauses where the artists were reading their assigned thing to draw before asking for something else to draw. Any sounds of yelling or bodies thudding onto the floor is courtesy of the Akido demonstration on the other side of the building.
