❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: You visited the Cup Noodle Museum and teamLab Planets on the same day? Was that a good plan? A: Yes, it was a very tight schedule, but it worked out really well!. We did the Cup Noodle Museum during the day, and then my tip is to save teamLab Planets for the night. We went for a late session at 8:30 PM, and it was a perfect way to end the day.

Q: You drove in Japan! What was that like? A: It was my first time driving in the city in Japan, and my overall experience was very good!. I did almost miss a few exits, though. My tip is to bring a 12-volt car charger that can handle multiple devices at once.

Q: Where is the Cup Noodle Museum? Is it easy to get to? A: The one we visited is in Yokohama (I know there's another one in Osaka). If you take the train, it's about an hour from Tokyo. We drove, and my main tip is to be aware that they don't have a lot of parking space, so you'll want to plan for that.

Q: What activities did you do inside the Cup Noodle Museum? A: We did two main activities. First, we did the one where you make your own instant noodle from scratch. The second one, which was right after, was the "My CUPNOODLES Factory," where we got to design our own cup and pick the ingredients.

Q: Do I need to book the Cup Noodle activities in advance? A: Yes, absolutely. For the hands-on activities like the ones we did, an online reservation is required. I'd recommend booking those as soon as you know your travel dates.

Q: Could you take pictures or videos during the activities? A: It was mixed! For the activity where we were mixing the flour and making the noodles by hand, filming was not allowed. But they did let us use our phones before and after that part. For the part where we designed our cups, filming was totally fine.

Q: You also went to the Fujiko F. Fujio (Doraemon) Museum? A: Yes, we squeezed that in, too!. The main thing to know is that filming was not allowed inside the museum exhibits. I was only able to get videos of the food we ordered at their restaurant.

Q: What was teamLab Planets like? Any tips for visiting? A: It was an amazing experience and, like I said, perfect for a night visit. It's super easy to get to—it's right next to a train station and also has a big parking lot. They also have lockers where you can fit a small-sized piece of luggage, which is really convenient.
