Yesterday, January 28, 2024, we received 8" of heavy wet snow all within a few hours with temperatures right around 33 degrees. The warm temperatures meant that the snowflakes were huge, and it came down so heavy in such a short time. In the morning, thanks to cloudy skies and temperatures that hovered around 33 degrees, the thick snowpack was stuck to all of the trees, phone and electrical wires, railings, and without wind - the snow stayed put all day long and will likely stay this way for another day - or at least until the sun comes back out tomorrow.
