Summary:
The Civil Rights Movement unfolded over the course of a decade in both triumph and tragedy. Members of our congregation, using images and the actual words of those who lived it, will tell that dramatic story. Our service will highlight the words of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and also the voices of many others who were at the battle front. On this Martin Luther King Day, let us experience the powerful story of the beginning of the African American struggle for respect and dignity. It is a struggle that continues today.
