Vancouver Poetry Slam is a weekly spoken word show that happens every Monday at Cafe Deux Soleils on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC. We have featured artists and performers from across Turtle Island, across the street or across the ocean. We gather to share poetry in community. Once a year, in mid-April at the Verses festival, we host the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam finals under the aegis of Vancouver Poetry House.
