Nanofibres are in your air filters, waterproof clothing, wound dressings, battery separators and fuel cell membranes. But producing nanofibres reliably at scale has always been the hard part — traditional needle-based electrospinning systems clog, yield inconsistently and can't meet industrial demand.
Jan Čmelíkand his team at Elmarco solved it with Nanospider™, the world's first needle-free electrospinning technology, enabling high-volume, uniform nanofibre production.

They are finalists of the 2026 European #InventorAward.
