Another ZOIA idea I had for awhile: how can I create phasing sequences that can lock into place after a shift (instead of just using free-running LFOs)?
While I initially tried to make this patch cycle between sync and phasing stages automatically, it proved to be quite a challenge, and one I'll resort to solving another day. However, I did simplify the process to just have the phase happen when manually triggered by me, so we're halfway there! Figuring out the timing between beginning the phase and ending it requires a bit of common denominator math, but one could get close with just "trial by ear" I guess.
This sequence idea comes from a great bass player on a specific Jazz-influenced Hip-Hop track, can you guess who it is and what song it's from?
