"What...", "Look, here!", "Bring the oxygen mask!", voices of a few people actively push consciousness forward towards Fred.
Loud. Louder. He opens his eyes. Tears mingle with the water dripping from his lashes, while he is trying to focus on the people around him. Is it really Caroline, who is pushing his chest and reanimating him? Oh wow. He has made it.
"Fred? Fred, can you hear me?", a dark voice is asking. He knows this guy, it's Mani, the captain of the underwater station. "Have you been successful?".
Fred's mind starts digging deeper - what was his task? Why did he leave the station? During the enemies' attack; exposing himself to the poisoned environment? Then it bursts out of his mouth: "YES!", he cries, "I managed to sneak into the old resistance bunker and copied the data!!!"
