#Jamuary21 day 29. Shine on, you crazy diamonds, TD-3 and MicroFreak!
I know, it is a bit early for a resume of Jamuary, nevertheless, I will start with this: Having decided to participate with a fix and minimal setup with machines I did not yet use too much, to allow digging deep and learning to play them was really challenging in the beginning. At first, I prepared everything, needed literally dozens of takes, even feared if I really could create something new and a bit different every day. So I threw in some additions in a few jams, my trusty Electribe and even the Launchpad to perform with Ableton clips. Throughout the days, my mood has changed! The MicroFreak and the TD-3 together with the MS-70CDR multi-effect pedal became a source of inspiration, musical companions, that team up perfectly and allow me create music live, I wouldn’t have thought to be able to, before. This setup is king and I am so glad about my decision to restrict to it and to take the time and do the daily jams.
Having said that, I need to apologize for some timing issues on my side in today’s jam, the simultaneous playing and switching challenged me a bit… Guess, I am not the best sequencer ;-).
Watch out for the tempo changes on the MicroFreak!
