#Jamuary21 day 15 is a very special one. Arturia released their new firmware 3.0 for the MicroFreak yesterday, which I was VERY curious about. So I updated my MicroFreak and gave it a spin.
This is one of the jams I made today, I checked out the new SawX oscillator in Unison mode. The result: Just Wow! The MicroFreak is pushed another step forward — the sonic capabilities have been greatly improved by these new feature. Listen to the changes in the sound during the track - the noise element dialed in by the Shape button pushes the track to the sky. I am really enthusiastic about it and wonder, where this might bring my next jams! Next step will be building some really mean bass with it, as the new oscillators provide sooo much grit!
TR-8 plays some techno-pattern, I thought that would fit quite good. MicroFreak’s sound is going through Zoom MS-70CDR.
Sorry for the video-footage - exactly THIS take was defect, so I had to take one of another jam. But this brought me to dive deeper into audio-visualisation, perhaps this makes it acceptable again.
This is played live as a part of an ever evolving practicing jam - so please excuse several playing flaws, my apologies upfront... 😊
