Members of "Fukuoka Stands with Africa" students working on a cover of "We are the World" with classmates meet with Tim Kibira of the Blue Banana to develop a more "African" beat for the song. Their goal is to create a music video that helps raise awareness and donations for the current crisis in Northern Africa, where the UN has warned 20 million people could die of starvation this summer if the world does not come together and take action.

The UN has called this is the worst humanitarian tragedy since WW II. Over 20 million people in Sudan, Somalia, Northern Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Yemen face possible starvation over the coming months. And yet the leaders of wealthy nations have hardly responded.
