This is a play through of Paul Turner's bassline from the Jamiroquai song '(She's a) Fast Persuader'. This song is from the 2010 Rock Dust Light Star album.

I performed this song using a 1966 Fender Jazz bass: both pickups were on full, as was the tone control. For the Chorus sections, I added heavy compression and a noise gate in Logic, then played through an Iron Either Oxide fuzz pedal. The settings on the pedal were as follows:

EQ: 1 o'clock
Morph: 5 o'clock
Drive: 11 o'clock
Fuzz: 12 o'clock
Clean: 9 o'clock
Strangle switch: up position
Voice switch: down position
