VICE runs an exclusive interview back in 2014, James Mitchell who co-authored the CIA's torture techniques along with Bruce Jessens, called SERE,Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape training. The techniques adopted by Mitchell and Jessens included waterboarding, suffocation, head slamming and other physical and mental abuses.
