James Collins makes beautiful electric solid and hollow body guitars from his workshop in East Sussex and I had the pleasure of spending time with his Sapphire GTO model - a semi-hollow guitar made from flame maple and featuring a European spruce soundboard!
Not surprisingly this blue guitar was inspired by the Blue Guitar Collection and in particular the work of Maui-based super luthier Steve Grimes.
