007 First Light is a 2026 action-adventure video game developed and published by IO Interactive. Based on the James Bond franchise, it will tell an original narrative inspired by the novels and short stories by Ian Fleming, and the film series starring the character. The game will depict James Bond's origin story, as he embarks on the mission he must complete to earn his licence to kill.
Following the release of 007 Legends (2012), publisher Activision had its non-exclusive licence to produce James Bond video games revoked, resulting in an extended hiatus for video games adapting the franchise. IO Interactive announced the development of a new James Bond game in November 2020. The game entered full production at IO Interactive following the completion of Hitman 3 (2021), and was fully revealed in June 2025.
007 First Light is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on 27 May 2026. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled to release later in the year.
007 First Light will depict an original narrative that draws inspiration from the novels and short stories by Ian Fleming and the long-running film franchise featuring the character. Described as an origin story for the character, the game will follow a young James Bond (Patrick Gibson), who will be portrayed as a 26-year-old, inexperienced MI6 agent, who is tasked with a mission that, when completed successfully, will grant him his 00 status.
The story will also feature new iterations of well-known Bond characters such as M (Priyanga Burford), Q (Alastair Mackenzie), and Miss Moneypenny (Kiera Lester), reimagined to reflect their roles in shaping Bond's early career; Burford also previously played a MI6 scientist in the Bond film No Time to Die. The game will also feature original characters, such as Bond's MI6 mentor John Greenway (Lennie James), DGSE agent Charlotte Roth (Noémie Nakai), psychology and game theory expert Selina Tan (Gemma Chan) and flamboyant Bond villain Bawma (Lenny Kravitz).

Serving as the eighteenth installment in the Battlefield series, after Battlefield 2042, the game will release on October 10, 2025 on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S. On February 3, 2025, Electronic Arts announced an initiative titled Battlefield Labs, a closed-access worldwide playtest for an upcoming installment in the Battlefield series. The reveal confirmed that the game was being developed by DICE, Ripple Effect Studios (formerly DICE LA), Criterion Games and Motive Studios under the collective branding of Battlefield Studios. The game was officially revealed as Battlefield 6 on July 22, 2025, when Electronic Arts announced the premiere date for the official reveal trailer, which was released on July 24, 2025. On July 23, 2025, an additional teaser was published on the Battlefield social media pages. The teaser indicated that the central conflict, set in 2027, would involve a fractured NATO and a private military company named Pax Armata. On July 31, 2025, an overhauled look at the Portal map creation tools introduced in Battlefield 2042 was showcased, including a new editor powered by the Godot engine. On August 1, 2025, the multiplayer trailer was released. The trailer showed off gameplay from game modes introducing new gadgets and mechanics, as well as heavily destructive environments and returning features from previous releases, such as being able to collect dog tags from performing takedowns on enemy players - a feature missing from the previous installment. Call of Duty is a first-person shooter military video game series and media franchise published by Activision, starting in 2003.
