There is nothing wrong with being physically attracted to your spouse. Attraction is a normal part of marriage, and Scripture certainly does not present romance or physical desire as inherently sinful. But when a sermon about choosing a spouse begins highlighting a woman’s body or physical proportions, it raises some legitimate questions about **what exactly Christians are being taught to prioritize**.

Marriage is much deeper than that.
So when a preacher uses the pulpit to discuss finding a spouse, the question should always be:
**Are people being pointed toward biblical wisdom—or simply being taught the preacher’s personal preferences?**
And when your own spouse’s figure becomes part of the sermon illustration, has the conversation crossed a line?
