This one is similar in its instrumentation in parts to parts of Cooking Banana Rag. It was also one of these ones where I got the melody straight off, sung it into a recorder and then transcribed it for the synth.
I really like when that happens because The relationship between parts of the melody is more immediate in my head by the time I’ve sung it in so it feels more cohesive. I did make some changes but it’s mostly the same melody I sung and then I harmonised it with the synth.
