Eli Manning is joined by Actor Jake Johnson ahead of his new movie "The Dink" premiering July 24th on AppleTV. The duo sit together to review the classic 1980's hit movie, Caddyshack.
Caddyshack tells the story of a country club caddy named Danny Noonan. Danny’s family can’t afford to pay for his college because it costs $8,000 a year. This is a lot in 1980 money.
So Danny decides his best shot at a better life is to earn the college scholarship that’s awarded every year to one caddy.
All of this sounds more like a depressing drama than a comedy … but thanks to Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield, a puppet groundhog, explosions and tons of gratuitous nudity … Caddyshack is still remembered as an all-time great sports comedy 46 years after it came out.
