Out of nowhere jagex has just made a significant change the the runescape economy, more specifically the ge tax rate. Effective today the tax rate for the grand exchange has just increased from 1% to 2%. On top of this the item sink list is completely changing.

Why has jagex made these changes, and how will this effect the long term osrs economy? Today we are going to walking about the osrs market and all the changes introduced in today's update.
