Meet competitive sailor and two-time national champion Charlotte Rose, who spends her time outside of class at the riverfront Dolphin Beach, sailing on the St. Johns River, or playing volleyball with her friends on the Payne Sand Volleyball Courts. Just 20 minutes away from the beach and with over 270 sunny days, Jacksonville University is a perfect place for students interested in competitive water sports such as rowing and sailing! Charlotte Rose is finishing her degree in Kinesiology and Psychology, and will go on to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
