Jack learned first aid at school. The very next day, he saved his father's life. Watch their incredible story.

We’re calling for every single school child to have at least one hour of first aid teaching per year, and right now is your chance to make that happen. Find out more at sja.org.uk/PSHE

Jack learned first aid through taking part in the Big First Aid Lesson. Find out more here: sja.org.uk/sja/schools/big-first-aid-lesson.aspx

The findings that 24% of secondary schools teach first aid come from an online survey of 2,004 adults in the UK conducted by Critical Research, in April 2017 for British Red Cross. British Red Cross is part of the Every Child A Lifesaver charity collation, along with St John Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation.
