Our grandson Jack loves these tasty puff pastry sandwiches! We always make a big batch and put some in the freezer for him to take to work for his lunch. They are so easy to make and so easy to switch up the ingredients for lots of different results--all beautiful and all delicious.

Recipe:
1 pkg Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry (2 sheets)
Deli ham
Swiss cheese
Mustard
Egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water)

Preheat oven to 425°F.
Lay one sheet of the pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Layer ham slices all over the top in desired thickness. Spread mustard generously over the ham and top with a layer of the cheese. Place the second pastry sheet over the top and cut into 9 squares. Brush tops with the egg wash. Bake about 20-25 minutes until pastry is puffy and golden brown and cheese has melted. Cool slightly before serving.
